What does Certificate Expiration mean?

If you see a warning message that says "the certificate used to protect the transmitted information has expired", don't be alarmed. This is not a security risk.

You're getting that message because you are using a browser with a security component that expired at the end of 1999. These browers include Netscape Navigator versions 4.05 and earlier, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01, and 4.5 for Macintosh. In spite of this glitch, the SSL connection between MonsterPay and your browser is completely secure.

You can ignore this message, and click "Continue" to bypass it. But you'll continue to receive the warning every time you try to access a site using SSL encryption.

If you don't want to keep seeing the warning, you can upgrade your browser by downloading a new version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator.
